Het Portugese Festival da Canção 2020 komt er aan! De Portugese publieke omroep RTP heeft zojuist de 16 artiesten en liedjes aangekondigd die meedoen aan de nationale selectie voor het Eurovisiesongfestival van dit jaar. De halve finales worden gehouden op 22 en 29 februari en de Grote Finale op 7 maart.
De halve finale vindt plaats in RTP-studio’s in Lissabon en de Grand Final wordt gehouden in Elvas, een stad in de regio Alentejo, Portugal.

Naast de artiesten en liedjes heeft RTP de presentatoren van de shows onthuld. De 1e halve finale wordt gepresenteerd door Jorge Gabriel en Tânia Ribas de Oliveira, de 2e door José Carlos Malato en Sónia Araújo en de Grote Finale door Filomena Cautela, Vasco Palmeirim. Bij alle 3 de shows zal Inês Lopes Gonçalves vanuit de Green Room verslag doen.
